Fred Ghahramani
President, Compass Energy Solutions, LP
Mr. Ghahramani began his career with Pacific Gas and Electric Company in California and has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. At PG&E, he held numerous positions of increasing responsibilities in engineering, residential and non-residential marketing, marketing research, and administration. Mr. Ghahramani left PG&E as Director of Marketing Research and Planning to join A&C Enercom Consultants, Inc. as Vice President of the Consulting Business Unit. At A&C Enercom, he was responsible for introducing a variety of consulting services to utilities, across the United States. In 1997, A&C Enercom was acquired by Dominion Resources and Mr. Ghahramani joined Dominion as Business and Product Development Director, responsible for performance contracting services to commercial and local government customers. He returned to California in 2001, as Vice President and General Manager of Noresco, a division of Equitable Resources, Inc. At Noresco, he was responsible for managing the western region business and established Noresco as the performance contracting leader in California and Hawaii. He left Noresco to start Compass Energy Solutions, LP.
Mr. Ghahramani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with structural option from New Mexico State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Golden Gate University.
Vance Williams
Vice President-Business Development, Compass Energy Solutions, LP
Mr. Williams is responsible for maintaining existing business and developing new client relationships. Prior to joining the Company as a Principal in July 2004, he worked with Noresco; where his duties, since 2001, included developing and implementing a strategic business plan in performance contracting sales for the state of California higher education market. He was the top producing sales executive in the western region. Previously, Mr. Williams worked as a Sr. Account Executive for Southern California Edison Company, where he managed the key Southern California Major Account customer base. This included all Community Colleges in Edison’s service area. Mr. Williams was instrumental and still active in the formation and support of the Southern California Community College Facility Managers group. Vance is an expert in the understanding of Community Colleges’ issues. Mr. Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administration from California State University San Bernardino.
